My wife recently had to undergo a surgery that made it impossible for her to have kids. It is extremely important to me that I am able to have my own kids(so far as I can figure that is the entire point of life). Other than that we don’t really have any problems, but it is still eating me up inside. What do you think I should do?
If your relationship is based solely on procreation then I understand your point. However, relationships involve a multitude of dimensions. People are not one dimensional. If you entered a relationship and marriage not understanding this then I feel sorry for you. I’m sure your wife feels bad about the situation as well. Everyone faces challenges in life. Many couples can’t have kids. Focus on a solution. Adoption should be an option for you to look into.
