I Like My Sister’s Best Friend

I really like my sister’s best friend, and I think she likes me back, but she won’t admit it. She is 2 years younger than me. I asked her over MSN once if she liked me, and she said no and that I was more of a brother to her. However, I still think she does like me, she’s just afraid to tell me.
I really want to start something with her, but I’m not sure how just yet. Also, at this point, if anything does happen, I don’t want my sister finding out just yet. Any ideas?
You might try to actually talk to her either in person or on the phone. Ask to do something like having coffee or meeting for lunch and see how that goes. You need to actually make contact with someone to see if they like you. Until you actually interact with the person everything exists in your mind and imagination.

I guess I forgot to point out that she is at my house all the time, and we talk a lot. I don’t really see how its possible that she could look at me as her brother without having contact with me. Or maybe I’m just misunderstanding you.
Either way, I really need some good advice.

Well, first of all. I, myself, am in a situation where my older brother likes my best friend. And my brother told me about this in a very mature way. He actually came up to me and told me that he liked my best friend. Not long afterward, my best friend told me that she liked my brother too. So they both asked me for advise on “hooking” them up. And I am still glad to know that they were truthful, and very up-front with me. So now, they both are currently dating and I am totally fine with it.
So my best bet would be telling your sister about your crush before she finds out from someone else. This way she knows that you really care about her best friend and it will be helpful on your behalf. That way she won’t be upset with you and things won’t be too weird. Again, you should be up-front with her and see if she will help you out as well. Sure it may seem not the right thing to do, but it really helps by being honest with those close to you.

i have this huge crush on my sisters best friend too!. i met her and my sisters birthday party and my sister and a bunch of her friends where playing truth or dare and then when i came to the girl i likes turn to spin the bottle she asked some sam girl if she thought i was cute she said no (i dont care because shes fat and has never had a boy friend) lol anyway she answerd her own question and said i really think hes cute and she wont stop lookin over at me and smiling i really want to go out with her shes one of the most prettiest girls ive ever seen! i sure as hell hope my sister invites her over our house more often so i can get to know her better.what should i do? i was goin to tell my sis but shed make fun of me. and i was goin to add her on face book but idk should i?
