I don’t know what to do my boyfriend said he does not know if he is in love with me. I have been with my boyfriend for almost 4 years. Last night we started a discussion and it lead to other things… I asked him if he was in love with me and wanted to be with me, he said he didn’t know and wanted to take some time to think about it. I just need to know what I should do here? He says that he still loves me, but in not sure about being “in love with me”. I need some advice!

Frank conversation and honesty are always good things. Many times people let events happen without knowing why they are involved in them. The fact that you’ve talked indicates that you do communicate well. All may not be lost. Be yourself and see how things go. People sometimes have ups and downs with “being in love.” You may have put him on the spot and he wasn’t ready to be there, but may be in time.
