There’s a guy at work who I’m very attracted to. He has always been very shy and introverted towards those around him. I know that he was previously married and was very hurt in the relationship. He and I became friends at work over the past year. We enjoy the same things, same shows on TV, etc.

I was recently in the hospital and out of work for 2 months. During that time, he called me at the hospital and stopped by my house to give me a present. Other than these two times, we have had no contact outside work. One day he told me he had a movie he I might like. The next day he brought the movie over and put a note on it saying that he hoped I wasn’t offended by the content of the movie, that it was very erotic in nature. I thought that it might be something like Basic Instinct or Unfaithful but it was an X-rated movie. I’m confused. I would never bring a movie like this to someone who was just my friend at work. Does he want something more?
