I went through a divorce in October 2005. I became close to a friend and his girlfriend. The girl and I have developed feelings for each other. She’s very unhappy in her relationship. She’s afraid to leave and worried about her boyfriend and not her own happiness. She has strayed before with someone else about a year ago. I don’t understand why someone would stay in a relationship if they are not happy. We have had intercourse several times. I have told her how I feel but she won’t tell me how she feels. What should I do? Is there hope for us to be together?
